Lyttelton Diamond Harbour Accomodation 3x3

Welcome to 'The Rookery' (circa 1866)

LHBA 1

Locality

The Rookery is one of Lyttelton's oldest cottages with delightful terraced gardens and wonderful panoramic views over the harbour, hills and volcanic cliffs.  To capture the character of the Victorian era we have paid particular attention to the colours, finishes and facilities that ensure our visitors enjoyment during their stay with us.  Broadband internet and wireless router available, plus digital theatre in our South bedroom and DVD in our North bedroom.  All our rooms are beautifully appointed and very comfortable with double glazing and underfloor heating.

Lyttelton is a vibrant port full of interest and one of New Zealand's most popular locations.  The township offers plenty of diversity with cafes, restaurants, clubs, music venues, galleries and a superb museum full of exotic memorabilia - all just a short drive from central Christchurch.

How to find us
We are easy to find and only twenty five minutes from the airport.  On exiting the tunnel turn left.  Take the next left into Dublin Street, then next left onto London Street.  Bear right onto Hawkhurst and proceed up the hill to a 'No exit' sign on the right.  Turn sharp right into Selwyn Road, then fork next left up Selwyn Parade.  At the T-Junction turn right.  You have arrived, and The Rookery is on your right.  Please park on the forecourt.
