Shonagh O'Hagan's Guest House
Dalcroy House was built in 1859 for James Fergusson, the first schoolmaster at the Lyttelton Presbyterian School. Dalcroy House has served as a private residence, boarding house, rental property for Sea
Captains, guesthouse and hostel for naval ratings in WW2.
Today it is again a guesthouse having been lovingly restored to save this amazing piece of New Zealand history for posterity.
The house has an intimate view of the Port and harbour, is five minutes from the centre of Lyttelton and 15 minutes drive from the centre of Christchurch.
Your hostess, Shonagh, has an interest in food having work as a cook in Queenstown. Educated as a nurse, Shonagh has tutored nursing, developed and managed services for people with psychiatric disability and is
currently managing a therapy business.
She is now combining her love of old buildings, her passion for customer service and management skills to ensure her guests have a memorable stay.
If you would like more information please contact Shonagh shonagh.ohagan@xtra.co.nz or submit a booking direct on the
