Our café is open from Wednesday
through to Sunday from 10am each morning so come on and
join us for a fantastic coffee. We use Hummingbird Fair
Trade Organic Coffee beans and have built up a
reputation for excellent coffee which attracts customers
from all over Canterbury on a regular
basis. Our kitchen serves food throughout the morning
and over the lunch period until 4pm, offering a wide
range of homemade food from snacks right through to
hearty meals. Our infamous fish and tempura veg is a
delicious, yet healthy Kiwi favorite, or if you fancy
something lighter, share our Mediterranean Platter for
two over a lovely glass of wine.
Restaurant
We offer a delicious tapas menu
from which you can choose different dishes to create
your very own tailor made platter. One patter, including
six tapas dishes, is ideal for two people to share and
priced at $26. Some of our favourite dishes include
spicy chorizo Italian sausage served with spring onion
salsa, Middle Eastern mixed bean falafel and our
specialty, which is paprika coated Halloumi. Our
restaurant is open Friday and Saturday evening over the
winter period for bookings only.
Functions
We are very keen here
at She Café endeavouring to entertain as many of our
customers requests as possible from weddings to business
meetings. What ever size or type of event you are
organizing please feel free to give us a call. We have
an inside capacity of 70 people all seated comfortably
and seating for a further 30 outside on our
decking.
Special Events
‘She’ is becoming well known now for some
of the special evenings we have been holding here. Our
most popular evening so far was Gary McCormick and Tim
Shadbolt comedy night in July. Other events have
included musical evenings with Peru, a belly dancing
show complemented by Middle Eastern cuisine and a
special Valentines fine dining evening. Such evenings
will be continuing at She café so if you are interested
