I'm a member of the Celebrants Association of New Zealand and follow a code of ethics and conduct that puts your needs, values and beliefs first, while recognising the highest professional standards and the law.
I've a Diploma in Ceremony and Celebration covering the study of ceremony and culture, rights of passage and ritual. As a journalist I have a number of national awards for visual storytelling, writing and producing.

Telling Lives exists to tell your stories and celebrate your life.
After 27 years working as a professional broadcast journalist both here and abroad I've come to the conclusion that the stories that matter most are those which connect us to the people we love, our family and friends.
Because the narrative of people's lives inevitably involves significant change and transition like the birth of a child, coming of age, marriage and death, I combine my work as a documentary producer with my role as a civil marriage and funeral celebrant creating personalised and meaningful ceremonies.
Its about telling your stories so you and your family can celebrate the present, preserve the past and make meaningful connections for the future.
