29 Sumner Road is conveniently within a short walk to the town centre and all that it has to offer. As a self-catering house, 29 is a luxurious way to enjoy New Zealand at its best. Built in 1867, this beautiful 3 bedroom historic home offers the most modern of
features in an early colonial Villa.
29's interior is now perfectly suited to an eclectic collection of piecesfrom European and New Zealand Designers including Phillip Starck, Tolix,Terence Conran¹s Habitat and David Trubridge.
29 is only an easy 5 minute walk from the centre of Lyttelton or the
fabulous Lyttelton Farmers Market as we are situated above the harbour on the infamous Sumner Road, or the 'road to Sumner'. We are therefore perfectly situated for both business and leisure stays.
Our facilities include broadband, flat screen television and DVD, designer kitchen, Francis espresso machine, MP3 dock and speakers, family bathroom with antique claw-foot bath, laundry facilities, heating/air-conditioning, sheltered cottage garden, gas BBQ,
